Messages: Text Messenger Home (the "App") is a home screen launcher application built around messaging, published by Lumora Tech ("Lumora," "we," "us," "our"). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your download, installation, and use of the App. By using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.

In Short

The App replaces your phone's home screen with one centered around your texts, while still giving you the app icons, widgets, and wallpapers you'd expect from a launcher. You keep ownership of your messages and your layout. We're not responsible for carrier fees, network issues, or device compatibility. Details below.

1. What the App Does

The App functions as a custom home screen launcher, letting you organize app icons, widgets, folders, and wallpapers, while placing SMS/MMS messaging front and center for quick access to your conversations.

2. Eligibility

You may use the App if you meet the minimum age required to use mobile messaging and launcher applications in your country, and — if you're a minor under local law — a parent or guardian has approved your use.

3. Permissions

Default launcher setting: required to replace or customize your device's home screen. SMS/MMS: required to send, receive, and display your texts from the home screen. Contacts: used to show names alongside messages and shortcuts. Installed apps list: used to display and organize your icons and folders. Camera & media: used to set wallpapers or attach photos to messages. Storage: used to save wallpapers, layout settings, attachments, and backups. Notifications: used to show message alerts and badges on your home screen.

You can adjust or revoke any of these in your device settings. Doing so may limit the App's launcher features, messaging features, or both, and may prompt you to choose a different default home screen.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App to send spam or unsolicited bulk messages; harass, threaten, or impersonate anyone; share unlawful or infringing content; interfere with the App or your device's system settings; or otherwise break telecommunications or privacy laws that apply to you. We may suspend or restrict access for violations of this section.

5. Ownership of Your Content and Layout

Messages, photos, and files you send or receive, along with your personal home screen layout, widget setup, and wallpaper choices, remain your property. Lumora does not claim ownership of this content and does not routinely monitor your private messages. Optional backup features covering messages or layout data, where offered, are governed separately by our Privacy Policy and require your consent.

6. Carrier Charges & Network Reliability

The App's messaging features rely on your device's SIM card and cellular/data connection. Lumora is not responsible for SMS, MMS, or data charges billed by your carrier, nor for message delays or failures caused by network conditions beyond our control.

7. Switching Launchers

You may switch back to your device's default home screen or a different launcher at any time through your device settings. Layout customizations made within the App may not carry over unless you've created a backup.

8. Intellectual Property

The App's design, source code, launcher interface, trademarks, and branding are owned by Lumora Tech or its licensors. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the App — not to copy, reverse-engineer, resell, redistribute, or use our branding without written permission.

9. Third-Party Services

The App may integrate with outside services such as wallpaper or icon pack providers, backup services, or analytics tools, each governed by their own terms and privacy practices, which Lumora does not control.

10. Privacy

Our data collection and use practices, including for messages, contacts, and layout preferences, are set out in our Privacy Policy, incorporated here by reference. Using the App means you consent to those practices.

11. Updates & Availability

Lumora may release updates, modify launcher or messaging features, or pause the App for maintenance at its discretion. We don't guarantee the App will always be available without interruption or compatible with every device.

12. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App without prior notice if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine, in good faith, to be harmful to other users or to Lumora.

13. No Warranty

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee the App will be secure, uninterrupted, or error-free.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the extent the law allows, Lumora is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including lost messages, layout data, or profits — arising from your use of the App. This does not limit liability that cannot be lawfully excluded, such as for death, personal injury, or fraud.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced within the App or its store listing. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Lumora Tech's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
